YomiChat Privacy Policy
YomiChat (“the Application”) is a Windows desktop application that helps users read Japanese text in YouTube Live Chat by displaying furigana (reading guides) for Japanese kanji.
1. Use of YouTube API Services
YomiChat uses YouTube API Services, including the YouTube Data API, to access information necessary to identify a live stream and receive its live chat messages.
By using YouTube-related features in YomiChat, users are also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google’s Privacy Policy is available at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
2. Information accessed
YomiChat may access the following data through YouTube API Services:
- YouTube Live Chat message text;
- the display name of a Live Chat message author;
- live-stream information needed to identify the active Live Chat; and
- OAuth authorization credentials needed to access YouTube API Services.
YomiChat requests the youtube.readonly OAuth scope. YomiChat does not intentionally request the user's email address, Google Drive files, or unrelated Google services.
3. How information is used
YouTube API Data is used only to provide YomiChat functionality, including receiving Live Chat messages, displaying them in the local YomiChat/OBS interface, and generating Japanese reading guides locally on the user's computer.
YomiChat does not use YouTube API Data for advertising or behavioral profiling.
4. Storage and retention
Live Chat history is kept temporarily in memory while YomiChat is running and is not maintained by YomiChat as a permanent chat database.
Application settings and user-created pronunciation dictionary entries may be stored locally on the user's computer.
OAuth credentials used to maintain the user's Google connection are stored locally for the Windows user and protected using Windows data-protection mechanisms.
YomiChat does not operate a developer-controlled server that receives or stores users' Live Chat messages or OAuth credentials.
5. Sharing
The YomiChat developer does not sell, rent, or provide Google or YouTube user data to advertisers or data brokers. Data is exchanged with Google/YouTube as necessary to use YouTube API Services.
6. Revoking access and deleting local data
Users can disconnect their Google account from within YomiChat. Users may also revoke YomiChat's Google access from Google Account connections.
Disconnecting Google from YomiChat removes the locally stored OAuth authorization information associated with that connection. Temporary chat history is discarded when the relevant session/application ends. Locally stored settings and user dictionary data can be removed by deleting YomiChat's local application data.
7. Security
YomiChat uses reasonable technical measures to protect locally stored authorization information. No storage or software system can guarantee absolute security.
8. Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when YomiChat functionality, data practices, or applicable platform policies change. The effective date shown above will be updated when material changes are published.

YomiChat（以下「本アプリ」）は、YouTubeライブチャット内の日本語の漢字にふりがなを表示し、読みやすくするWindows向けデスクトップアプリです。
1. YouTube API Services の利用
本アプリは、ライブ配信の特定およびライブチャットメッセージの取得に必要な範囲で YouTube API Services（YouTube Data API を含む）を利用します。YouTube関連機能の利用には、YouTube利用規約も適用されます。Googleのプライバシーポリシーはこちらです。
2. アクセスする情報
- ライブチャットのメッセージ本文
- メッセージ投稿者の表示名
- 現在のライブチャットを特定するために必要な配信情報
- YouTube API Servicesへのアクセスに必要なOAuth認証情報
本アプリは youtube.readonly スコープを要求します。メールアドレス、Google Driveファイル、その他無関係なGoogleサービスへのアクセスを意図的に要求しません。
3. 利用目的
YouTube API Data は、ライブチャットの受信・表示、およびユーザーPC上での日本語読み仮名生成など、YomiChatの機能提供のためにのみ利用します。広告や行動プロファイリングには利用しません。
4. 保存と保持
ライブチャット履歴は実行中のメモリ上に一時的に保持され、永続的なチャットデータベースとして保存されません。設定やユーザー辞書はユーザーPCに保存される場合があります。OAuth認証情報はWindowsユーザー環境にローカル保存され、Windowsのデータ保護機能で保護されます。
YomiChat開発者が運営するサーバーへライブチャットメッセージやOAuth認証情報を送信・保存する仕組みはありません。
5. 第三者提供
Google/YouTubeのユーザーデータを広告主やデータブローカーへ販売・貸与・提供しません。YouTube API Servicesの利用に必要な範囲でGoogle/YouTubeとの通信が行われます。
6. アクセスの取り消しとローカルデータ削除
YomiChat内のGoogle接続解除機能、またはGoogleアカウントの接続管理からアクセス権を取り消せます。接続解除時には関連するローカルOAuth認証情報が削除されます。チャット履歴はセッション/アプリ終了時に破棄されます。
7. セキュリティ
ローカルに保存される認証情報を保護するため合理的な技術的対策を講じますが、完全な安全性を保証するものではありません。
8. 本ポリシーの変更
機能、データ取扱い、プラットフォームポリシーの変更に応じて本ポリシーを更新することがあります。

2. 접근하는 정보

YomiChat 개발자가 운영하는 서버로 사용자의 Live Chat 메시지나 OAuth 인증 정보를 전송·저장하지 않습니다.
5. 제3자 제공
YomiChat 개발자는 Google 또는 YouTube 사용자 데이터를 광고주나 데이터 브로커에게 판매, 임대 또는 제공하지 않습니다. YouTube API Services 사용에 필요한 범위에서 Google/YouTube와 데이터가 교환됩니다.
6. 접근 권한 철회 및 로컬 데이터 삭제
YomiChat 내부에서 Google 연결을 해제하거나 Google 계정 연결 관리에서 접근 권한을 철회할 수 있습니다. YomiChat에서 연결을 해제하면 해당 연결의 로컬 OAuth 인증 정보가 삭제됩니다. 임시 채팅 기록은 해당 세션 또는 앱 종료 시 폐기됩니다.
7. 보안
로컬 인증 정보를 보호하기 위해 합리적인 기술적 조치를 사용하지만 어떠한 저장 또는 소프트웨어 시스템도 절대적인 보안을 보장할 수 없습니다.
8. 방침 변경
YomiChat 기능, 데이터 처리 방식 또는 플랫폼 정책이 변경되면 본 방침을 업데이트할 수 있습니다.
